Ambiance.
Inspired by a gold-medal winning
stained glass window from the 1893 Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Dr.
George Morey and his wife Frances Rose designed and built this 7,200 square
foot, three story Victorian mansion circa 1894.
Transformed at different times from
residential to office to retail and back to residential, this historic
landmark has passed through the hands of owners who have recognize its
historical significance, architectural features, original materials and
craftsmanship. Long live the Rose Morey Lamport house.
